Accountant

Golden Eagle Distirbutors, Inc. has an opening for an Accountant in Tucson. Reconcile general ledger account balances to subsidiary ledgers, prepare and enter month end journal entries. Maintain EFT’s. Verify and enter product and freight invoices into industry specific software. Regularly communicate with warehouse and IT staff regarding issues with pricing and inventories. Prepare monthly sales and luxury tax reports and submit to proper government agencies. Assist with year-end audit. Prepare 1099’s and annual budget.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of an organization and diverse personalities, expertise in Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced Excel skills required, leadership skills with supervisory experience preferred, accounting degree and 4+ years of related accounting experience, self-starter who needs a minimal amount of supervision, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, experience with credit and collections and perpetual inventory methods, detail oriented with excellent organizational skills, 10-key skills by touch.

Team Assistant Night Crew - Tucson

Golden Eagle Distributors, Inc. (Budweiser) is looking for a Team Assistant in Tucson for the Night Crew. Assist the Team Leaders with Team Sells, Ride-Withs, Vacation Routes and Sick Days. Supervises merchandisers and quality control personnel in the absence of the Team Leader.

Requirements: Minimum two years sales, merchandising, or quality control experience required. Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Clean Driving Record – no more than 6 points! AZ Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL). Minimum of two years college education preferred. Must be able to lift and/or move several hundred cases of product repeatedly each day (avg. weight is 30 lbs. per case), able to lift and/or move 175-pound kegs occasionally, and ability to withstand 35 degree temperatures regularly. Previous beverage industry experience helpful. Position requires night and weekend duties.

Quality Control - Tucson

Golden Eagle Distributors, Inc., (Budweiser) seeks people to provide quality control of company products in all assigned licensed retail establishments by performing the following duties: Call on all designated accounts as assigned. Help unload trucks and merchandise accounts as necessary and maintain Quality Control by rotating all shelf stock.

Must have good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work as a team member. Must be able to lift and/or move thousands of cases of beer repeatedly each day. Clean Driving Record – no more than 6 points! Ability to use a handtruck preferred. Previous beverage industry experience preferred. Previous merchandising experience helpful.

Warehouse Breakage Person: Rework products returned from the trade or incoming shipments due to damage or code problems. Count and clean cases as needed and repack in proper carriers or cartons. Enter breakage information on forms. Maintain inventory of breakage supplies. Sweep/mop and maintain breakage area. This requires continually bending and lifting cases weighing about 50-lbs and ability to safely operate pallet jack and hand truck.

Warehouse Worker: Receive, organize and distribute company products. Ensure consistency of processes within the warehouse, i.e., loading, unloading, check-in, delivery check-in, stacking, staging, stripping, verifying, wrapping and weighing. Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, organized working environment. This requires continually bending and lifting cases weighing about 50-lbs and occasionally lifting kegs weighing about 170-lbs and the ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack. Night and weekend duties may be required.

Utility Worker/ Key Account Helper: This position provides vacation or sick coverage and performs various duties as required. This position acts as driver, merchandiser, quality control, warehouse, or helper, depending on daily needs. This requires continually bending and lifting cases weighing about 50-lbs and occasionally lifting kegs weighing about 170-lbs and the ability to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and hand truck. Product knowledge and ability to communicate with customers/team members to resolve problems is essential. Class A CDL and a good driving record required. Night and weekend duties may be required.

Merchandiser/Quality Control Person: Restock shelves and build displays. Originate display ideas and/or follow suggestions of fellow team members. Construct or assemble displays from various materials. Rotate product to ensure quality and freshness. May assist with resets and store housekeeping. This requires continually bending and lifting cases weighing about 50-lbs and ability to communicate with customers/team members to resolve problems. Good driving record required. Night and weekend duties may be required.

Marketing Interns: Educate consumers on Budweiser products and execute promotions at local clubs and bars. Must be self-motivated and willing to interact with the public. Night/Weekend work required. All Majors welcome. Good driving record required.

Driver: Deliver, organize, stack, rotate, and merchandise product in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible for safe operation and cleanliness of vehicle. Collect payment from accounts and pick up rejected or unsold products. Responsible for all money, unsold product, returned product, and empty kegs. This requires continually bending and lifting cases weighing about 50-lbs and occasionally lifting kegs weighing about 170-lbs and the ability to safely operate a vehicle, pallet jack and hand truck. Product knowledge and ability to communicate with customers/team members to resolve problems is essential. Class A CDL and a good driving record required.
